Job Description

Pay Range: $15/hr – $19/hr, the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Job Description:

  • Answer a multi-line phone system and respond to routine questions or forward to appropriate party, all incoming calls to the Office of College Admission.
  • Keep reception area well organized, with pertinent information on all programs and services easily accessible.
  • Provides excellent customer service, administrative support, and problem solving related to prospective students, departmental records. Processes, updates, and supports departmental records and data. Provides a wide range of administrative support duties.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail. Scan, index, and match documents to applicant records.
  • Performs data entry and data corrections.
  • Coordinate bulk shipments of Admission publications. Must be able to life up to 30lbs, serves as the front desk receptionist. Answers phones, welcomes visitors.
  • Someone who is able to work independently, take direction, and “can do” attitude, able to speak with students and families.
  • Office phones, a scanner, and experience using databases.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Experience with data entry.
  • High familiarity using a computer/laptop.
  • Slate database experience.
  • Basic to intermediate excel skills.
  • Direct experience with document matching.
  • Research skills: check accuracy, validate data.
