Printed Wiring Technology Lab – The technician will support the PWTL lab personnel with the fabrication of printed wiring boards.
Before the technician is asked to perform any task, the technician will be trained in that area.
The technician will be taking the required chemical safety certification courses, learn safe lab practices, safely dispose of hazardous waste materials, keep the area neat and clean, interface with the PWTL lab personnel, meet tight schedules and possibly help out in other areas of the lab as needed.
The position requires a ‘hands on’ person able to learn how to: safely handle printed circuit board materials, use inspection equipment, use the photoresist coating, imaging and developing equipment and process printed circuit board materials in the wet chemical processing area.
The position may also require that the person operate the micro-sectioning equipment, the film plotter, the film developer, the etcher and plating equipment.
