Job Description:
• Temporary position will provide logistical and customer support for all summer sports camps offered through University Department of Athletics and the Division of Pre-College & Undergraduate Programs.
• The Sports Camps Assistant (SCA) will primarily be processing camper forms, reviewing them in Salesforce and Docusign for accuracy and completion and then following up with campers and their families on missing requirements.
• The SCA will also provide email and phone support as needed to inbound communications with campers and their families.
• The SCA will support logistical details of sports camps and at times may be asked to work check-ins.
• Delayed launch of Sports Camps this cycle, and difficulty hiring student workers and interns (seasonal staff).
• Needing support for processing Sports Camp forms due to lack of applications in student worker/intern internal applicants.
• This cycle we’re offering 45+ camps and will likely have 1k+ participants.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the use of email and telephone
• Strong attention to detail
• Significant experience using Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• High school degree.
• Google Apps for Education experience preferred
• Computer proficiency and experience with spreadsheets, databases and mail merges
• Salesforce but can be trained
• Team-Oriented, collaborative, strong work ethic, works well under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Google Apps for Education and systems platforms
• This position requires close attention to detail, ability to work with a team, seek help when needed, work quickly and accurately, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
