This position will have the ability to work a hybrid work schedule and is required to be onsite at least 2 days per week.
Additionally, the Sunday prior to a payroll run, this role will need to support payroll preparation for approximately four (4) hours.
Job Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Performs a variety of clerical duties required to prepare payroll data for computer input
• Balancing and transferring hours between timesheets and company accounting program to ensure all hours were entering correctly and accounted for
• Reviews timekeeping records
• Processes exception items requiring special handling
• Responds to inquiries from employees regarding timesheet or payroll questions
• Ensures employee timesheets are signed and approved for bi-weekly payroll processing
• Prepares, compiles and audits payroll reports, resolving any errors that populate
• Assists with documentation gathering for audits
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of professional work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and experience with V-Lookups
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with Shop Floor Time payroll system.
• Experience with Workday HRIS and Service Now
• Payroll audit or processing experience
• Fundamentals of Payroll Certification
