Job Description


  • Provide exceptional customer service to managers and employees via e-mail and when needed telephone communication.
  • This includes responding to employee inquiries quickly, completely, and professionally.
  • Ability to understand and apply Company policy/procedure and applicable law, to effectively identify, prioritize, and issue resolution or escalation of cases within established timelines.
  • Efficiently intake all employee requests, and redirect, resolve, or escalate employee concerns. Effectively identifies when issue needs to be escalated to include additional management and cross functional partners.
  • Support Employee Relations with administrative oversight of the e-Service process. Application of critical thinking to review and assign cases based on tier matrix and risk assessment. Complete intake and case reassignment with objectivity while remaining unbiased.
  • Ability to navigate the back end of systems to provide support for revisions and uploads. Update, transfer, and organize pertinent information, communications, and policy within systems and websites.
  • Oversight of the Employee Relations hotline including, review of initial intake, case type evaluation, and case


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Employee Relations or related HR experience
  • Excellent collaboration, customer service, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, active listening and comprehension skills
  • Ability to remain calm and demonstrate flexibility in high pressure situations
  • Strong consultative and analytic skills and ability to exercise independent judgment based on core policies and practices of the Company
  • Ability to analyse and review employee submissions in a neutral manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law
  • Computer skills – Excel and Microsoft Word are required
