Desktop Support Candidate to provide support for IT Warehouse and Deployment activities.
Experience in an IT/Technology related role (Service Desk, Desktop Support, Mobility, Hardware Fulfillment) preferred.
Candidate will be responsible for tickets assigned to them through ServiceNow ticket system.
Candidate will primarily be working on filling warehouse requests, checking in warehouse inventory, shipping hardware from requests submitted for IT hardware, hardware inventory and updating SAP for received and deployed IT hardware.
Candidate may be responsible equipment recovery, picking up computers, mobility, and peripheral equipment from onsite locations. Following-up with managers of offboarded employees to gather required information. Sending out boxes and return Fed-Ex Labels for remote users. Processing incoming return equipment and following all data retention practices.
Candidate may be responsible for computer peripheral deployments, setting up monitors, etc.
Candidate may be responsible for imaging computers.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
If resource demonstrates ability and opportunities are available for long term staff augmentation, contract will be extended for up to 2 years.
Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:
• 1 to 3 years IT warehouse and deployment experience
What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?
a. Must be proficient with Windows Operating systems.
b: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
c: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification?
A: Knowledge of SAP Helpful.
B: Proficiency with Laptop/PC Repair helpful
C: Some proficiency with PC imaging applications.
D: Experience with Incident Management Applications, (Service Now).
