Pay Rate: $13/hr – $15.74/hr, the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Requirements:

• The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for performing reconciliation, clerical, and reimbursement support functions at the regional billing office.
• Maintains cash reconciliations consistently and efficiently
• Maintain an accurate daily log of all deposits
• Distribute copies of the Explanation of Benefits to the appropriate collector in a timely manner
• Prepare all cash transfers going to Center locations and other Billing Centers daily, and forward to the respective Centers in a timely manner
• Receive and identify all cash transfers from Centers to the Billing Center, and process all transfers in a timely manner
• Prepare deposit for data entry to post payments to the appropriate account
• Assist data entry with balancing deposits
• Balance cash daily, including Cash Transfers, and report the figures to the Accounting Department monthly
• Assists with gathering various reimbursement data to create spreadsheets of branch and region financial information

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Must have computer training and/or experience with Microsoft programs
• Must prove to have a strong communication, organization, and reconciliation skills
• Should have knowledge of Word Processing software
